My name is Mercedes, but people call me ‘Mechi’. I’m an illustrator, character designer, and creator from Buenos Aires, Argentina.

I’m a ♊ with a rising ♉ so curiosity, playfulness and perseverance are three of my main qualities ✨.

My work is all about:
Magic: Fantastic universes and characters as well as esotericism.

People: Characters from different races, genres, sizes because inclusivity is one of my main priorities.

Slice of life: Situations and characters that showcase coming of age and all the emotions that come out of it - vulnerability, joy, sadness.

Nature: Plants, forests, the sea - nature itself and environmental care because I consider them to be of utmost importance to the world.

My current services include illustration for publishing and editorial projects, illustration for brands and event/products promotions, character design and surface pattern design for textile and stationery projects.

When I’m not drawing, I enjoy listening to music, watching K-dramas, and petting my cat, Mila, until she’s sick of me :).
